Guacamaya superba

Guacamaya superba is the only species in the plant genus Guacamaya, which is part of the Rapateaceae family. The genus was described in 1931. This species is native to the Río Guainía region, near the border between Colombia (Vaupés and Guainía) and Venezuela (Amazonas).
