Thorntown Public Library
Thorntown Public Library is a historic Carnegie library in Thorntown, Indiana. Built in 1914–1915, it is a one-story brown brick building with three bays and a red clay tile hipped roof. The round arched entrance has limestone trim. The construction was funded with $10,000 from the Carnegie Corporation of New York. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. Today, it is one of three public libraries serving Boone County.
