Thomas Butler Dowda
Thomas Butler Dowda (September 23, 1898 – September 2, 1986) was an American politician from Florida. A Democrat, he served in the Florida House of Representatives representing Putnam County from 1941 to 1953. He was born in Smyrna, Georgia, and attended Stetson University. He was married to Georgia Dowda and had one child. Dowda died at age 87 on September 2, 1986.
