Tomás Rojas Gómez, nicknamed Gusano, is a Mexican boxer born on June 12, 1980, in Tlalixcoyan, Veracruz. He fought mainly in the lighter weight classes and held the WBC super flyweight title from 2010 to 2011. He won the WBC interim super flyweight title on July 18, 2009, by defeating Everardo Morales. On September 20, 2010, he beat Kohei Kono in Saitama, Japan, to become the WBC super flyweight champion. He defended the title on February 5, 2011, by unanimous decision against Nobuo Nashiro. He lost the title on August 19, 2011, to Suriyan Sor Rungvisai in Sisaket, Thailand. Across his career, Rojas fought 74 times, winning 52 (34 by KO), with 20 losses and 1 draw.
