Thilo Leugers
Thilo Leugers (born 9 January 1991) is a German former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He started his senior career with FC Twente (2010–2014), spent a loan spell at NAC Breda (2012–2013), and also played for Jong Twente (2013–2014). He then joined Atlético Baleares (2014–2016) and later SV Meppen (2016–2022). Over his career he made 195 club appearances and scored 12 goals. Leugers announced his retirement in May 2022 due to recurring injuries. In his last game for SV Meppen against Eintracht Braunschweig, he started and scored the first goal in a 3–2 win before leaving the field in the seventh minute to a standing ovation from the fans.
