Large-format projection

Content sourced from Wikipedia, licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0.

Large-format projection (also called large-image projection) uses very large slide projectors or extremely powerful video projectors to display still or moving images on huge projection surfaces. Surfaces typically range from about 100 to 10,000 square meters, or larger. Sometimes a slide projector and a video projector are used together to create a "picture-in-picture" effect, enabling a large overall image with a dynamic part inside. This is a specialized field that requires detailed knowledge of projection settings and parameters.
