38th meridian east is a line of longitude 38° east of Greenwich. It runs from the North Pole to the South Pole, crossing the Arctic Ocean, parts of Europe and Asia, then Africa, followed by the Indian Ocean, the Southern Ocean, and finally Antarctica. It forms a great circle with the 142nd meridian west.
