Dudley Farlin
Dudley Farlin (September 2, 1777 – September 26, 1837) was an American businessman and politician from New York. Born in Norwich, Connecticut, he moved to Dutchess County as a youth and later settled in Warren County. He worked in lumber and grain. Farlin served as Supervisor of Warrensburg (1818–1820, 1827, 1828), Sheriff of Warren County (1821–1822, 1828), and was a member of the New York State Assembly in 1824. He was elected as a Jacksonian to the Twenty-fourth U.S. Congress and represented New York's 13th district from March 4, 1835 to March 3, 1837. After his term, he returned to his business pursuits. He died in Warrensburg, New York, and was buried in Warrensburg Cemetery.
