Mount Diablo Unified School District (MDUSD) is a public school district in Contra Costa County, California, based in Concord. It was formed in 1948 from the Mount Diablo Union High School District and local grammar schools.

Historical notes
- Clayton Valley High School was part of MDUSD from 1958 to 2012, then became a charter school
- Pacifica High School operated from 1955 to 1976, then reopened as Riverview Middle School
- Pleasant Hill High School operated from 1953 to 1980, then reopened as Pleasant Hill Middle School
- The earliest schools in the area were grammar schools; Concord’s first school was built in 1870
- MDUSD formed in 1948 from the Mount Diablo Union High School District and local grammar schools
