The Capture of the Chevrette is an oil painting by Philip James de Loutherbourg from 1802. It shows a British Royal Navy raid during the Napoleonic Wars, when the corvette Chevrette was captured in 1801.

The Chevrette was anchored in Camaret Bay, Brittany, protected by shore batteries. Boats from four British ships—the Robust, Doris, Beaulieu, and Uranie—surrounded the French vessel, overpowered its crew, and sailed it away under British control.

The painting was exhibited at the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition in 1802 at Somerset House. Today it belongs to the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery. Another artist, John Christian Schetky, also painted the same engagement; a copy is in the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich.
