The Bible Code: Saving the World is a 2010 non-fiction book by Michael Drosnin, the third book in The Bible Code series. It continues the idea from The Bible Code II: The Countdown that hidden messages in the Bible can reveal future events. Drosnin discusses a search for a steel obelisk that he says could unlock the Bible code completely and claims the code was created by extraterrestrial life, which he says also brought human DNA to Earth, with the key to the code left in the obelisk. He describes his attempts to find the obelisk and explains why he believed the Third World War would start in 2006, a prediction that did not come true. The failure of that forecast has led many to doubt the book’s central ideas.
