Dušan Uhrin
Dušan Uhrin, born 5 February 1943, is a Czech and Slovak football coach and former player. He was born in Nová Ves nad Žitavou, moved to Prague at 16, and played as a midfielder for clubs including Admira Prague and Aritma Prague. As a manager, he led many Czech teams—Sparta Prague, Hradec Králové, Cheb, Bohemians 1905, Teplice and Slovan Bratislava—and also worked abroad with Al-Nassr (Saudi Arabia), AIK (Sweden), AEL Limassol and APOEL (Cyprus), Maccabi Haifa (Israel), and Kuwait. He was the Czech Republic national team coach from 1994 to 1997, guiding the team in 48 matches and reaching the Euro 1996 final. Uhrin also managed Kuwait from 1999 to 2002.
