The Basketball Tournament 2019 was the sixth edition of TBT, a 5-on-5, single-elimination basketball event shown on ESPN. It ran from July 19 to August 6 and featured 64 teams in eight regions. Each region was hosted by a competing team, and regional winners earned 25% of their region’s ticket proceeds. The tournament took place in nine locations, finishing with the championship at Wintrust Arena in Chicago.

Carmen’s Crew won the championship and the $2,000,000 prize, defeating the Golden Eagles in the final. The MVP was William Buford, and the top scorer was Dwight Buycks with 123 points. A total of 63 games were played.

The Puma Posterize Dunk Contest occurred during the quarterfinals on August 2, with William Coleman of Bluff City winning $40,000. The Wichita Regional was presented by the Air Force Reserve.

Television coverage included regional games on ESPN networks (ESPN/ESPN2/ESPN3); quarterfinals on ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU; and the semifinals and final on ESPN. Host cities were announced January 29, 2019; open entry began March 1; and the full bracket was released June 11.
