Thaden is a small municipality in the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It covers about 12 square kilometers and lies about 22 meters above sea level. In December 2023 the population was 226. Thaden belongs to the Amt Mittelholstein, and the mayor is Klaus-Heinrich Bünz.

Thaden is in a rural area about 25 kilometers southeast of Heide. The Kiel Canal runs to the north of the village. It is roughly 11 kilometers south of the B430 (Neumünster–Meldorf) and about 12 kilometers southwest of the B23 (Hamburg–Heide).
