Tew Jiath (born 2 March 2005) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Collingwood Football Club in the AFL. He was born in a refugee camp in Ethiopia to South Sudanese parents and moved to Australia in 2007. He played as a medium defender for Gippsland Power before being drafted by Collingwood with pick 37 in the 2023 national draft, the club’s second pick of the night. Jiath made his AFL debut on 16 June 2024 against North Melbourne at Marvel Stadium. He is 188 cm tall, weighs 72 kg, and wears number 19 as a defender. He grew up supporting Collingwood and his favourite player is Scott Pendlebury. He is the younger brother of Changkuoth Jiath, who plays for Melbourne. As of the end of the 2024 season, Jiath had played 1 AFL game.
