Tenellia herrerai
Tenellia herrerai is a sea slug, an aeolid nudibranch, a shell-less marine snail. It belongs to the genus Tenellia and the family Trinchesiidae. The species was first described in 2002 as Cuthona herrerai by Ortea, Moro, and Caballer. DNA studies later moved many Cuthona species into Tenellia, so this species is now called Tenellia herrerai. It was described from Tarrafal de Monte Trigo, Santo Antão, in the Cape Verde Islands. Binomial name: Tenellia herrerai (Ortea, Moro & Caballer, 2002). Synonym: Cuthona herrerai.
