Zack Austin, No. 16, is an American basketball player for the Oklahoma City Blue in the NBA G League. The 6'7" small forward from North Carolina played college basketball at High Point and Pittsburgh. After attending Moravian Prep and Winston-Salem Prep, he joined High Point in 2021. As a redshirt freshman, he averaged 14.4 points and 8 rebounds per game, while his 2.2 blocks per game helped him lead the Big South in rebounds and earned Freshman of the Week honors a league-record eight times. He also shared the Big South Freshman of the Year award. In his second season at High Point, he again averaged over 14 points and more than two blocks per game, then transferred to Pittsburgh. At Pitt, his first season he averaged 6.5 points and 1.3 blocks per game, and he scored his 1,000th career point in January 2024 against Louisville. In his final college season, he averaged 9.2 points and led the ACC with 1.6 blocks per game, earning All-ACC Defensive Team honors. After going undrafted in 2025, he signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder on June 27, 2025. He was waived before the regular season and joined the Thunder’s G League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue.
