Taniva
Taniva is a tiny moth genus in the family Tortricidae, and it has only one species: Taniva albolineana, the spruce needleminer moth. The genus was created by Carl Heinrich in 1926, and the species was first described by William D. Kearfott in 1907.
This moth lives in the northern United States and Canada and has a wingspan of about 12 millimeters.
Over time, it has been given several other scientific names, including Lipoptycha albolineana, Endothenia albolineana, and Olethreutes piceae.
