Harden Family Cemetery
Harden Family Cemetery is a small historic cemetery in rural Chicot County, Arkansas. It sits in a horse pasture off Hardin Road, north of the small community of Jennie along Arkansas Highway 13 south of Lake Village. The cemetery covers about 1.1 acres and has 14 marked graves, all for members of the Harden family. The graves date from 1892 to the 1960s. The Harden family were African Americans who were early settlers in the area; the family patriarch, John Harden Sr., was a freed slave who died in 1892. One grandson became a local pastor and another a schoolteacher. Harden Family Cemetery was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
