Takifugu flavidus, commonly known as the yellowbelly pufferfish, is a species of pufferfish. It lives near the sea floor along the Yellow Sea, East China Sea, and Bohai Sea. It can grow up to about 35 cm long. Like other pufferfish, it is poisonous to humans if not prepared correctly, and some cuisines prepare pufferfish as fugu.
