Tag Ridings
Taggart Twain Ridings, known as Tag Ridings, was born on September 7, 1974, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and the Korn Ferry Tour. His father, a club professional, got him into golf. Ridings played college golf at the University of Arkansas and graduated in 1997 with a marketing degree. He turned professional in 1997 and has spent much of his career on the Korn Ferry Tour and the PGA Tour, earning more than $3 million on the PGA Tour.
Ridings has two Korn Ferry Tour wins and a 2–0 playoff record on that tour. While he has not won a PGA Tour event, he finished tied for second at the 2004 Michelin Championship at Las Vegas. His best PGA Tour year came in 2005, when he finished 91st on the money list and earned about $900,000.
In July 2021, Ridings won the TPC Colorado Championship in a playoff, his first victory in nearly 19 years, defeating David Skinns and Kevin Yu. In major championships, he has only played in the U.S. Open, missing the cut in 2000 and 2006.
Ridings currently resides in Keller, Texas.
