The Suzuki GN250 is a standard motorcycle with a 250cc, air‑cooled, 4‑stroke, single‑cylinder engine. It uses a 4‑valve SOHC head and a 5‑speed manual transmission with a wet clutch. Made by Suzuki since 1982, it’s a cruiser‑style bike that’s easy to ride, making it popular for learners.

Its smaller partner is the GN125 (125cc). There was also a GN400 sold in the UK from 1982 to 1984 that used a 6‑volt electrical system. The GN250 comes with a speedometer, odometer with trip, high beam, turn signals, and a gear position indicator. Some later versions have a safety feature that cuts the engine if you shift into gear with the side stand down.

The GN250 shares its drivetrain with the Suzuki GZ250, a more cruiser‑type variant. The GN series later evolved into the Suzuki TU250, a modern version with fuel injection and updated styling.
