2000–01 Belgian Cup

The 2000–01 Belgian Cup was the 46th season of Belgium’s main knockout football competition. The final phase began in round 32, when all 18 first-division teams joined along with 14 clubs from the qualifying rounds. Most rounds were single-game knockouts; the semifinals were played over two legs, and the quarter-finals were single-leg with a possible replay. The final was held at Heysel Stadium in Brussels, where Westerlo won 1–0 against Lommel. In total, 34 matches were played and 98 goals were scored (about 2.88 per match). Final positions: Champions Westerlo, Runners-up Lommel.
