Suleka Mathew
Suleka Mathew is a Canadian actress. She was born in Kerala, India, and grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia. She has acted since 1988 and now lives in Los Angeles, California. She is best known for lead TV roles: Arlene Branch in Claws, Dina Tomson in Red Widow, Sara Jackson in Men in Trees, and Dr. Sunita Raman in Da Vinci's Inquest, for which she was nominated three times for Best Actress at the Leo Awards.
She has had guest roles on The West Wing and Flashpoint. Her film work includes Touch of Pink, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, and the Netflix film That’s Amor. She has done audio work, narrating The Sad Truth About Happiness and The Management of Grief. She appeared in Rohinton Mistry's A Fine Balance and Veronica Tennant's Shadow Pleasures inspired by Michael Ondaatje. Her recent theatre work includes playing Phyllis in Body Awareness for Mitch and Murray Productions. She volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, MPTF, and Performers for Literacy.
