Strnišče, Kidričevo
Strnišče is a small settlement south of Kidričevo in northeastern Slovenia. It covers an area of 4.91 square kilometers and sits about 240 meters above sea level. In 2002, it had around 105 residents. Strnišče is part of the Municipality of Kidričevo, in the Drava Statistical Region, and lies in the traditional region of Styria.
The western part of the original Strnišče settlement later became part of Kidričevo after World War II. The name Strnišče comes from the old German name Sternthal, first printed in 1895. The traditional Slovene name for the place was Prelogi. The German name Sternthal is thought to refer to a sheep pen, indicating that sheep were once kept there.
