Silvester Šereš (Serbian Cyrillic: Силвестер Шереш, Hungarian: Sörös Szilveszter) was a Yugoslav footballer of Hungarian descent. He was born on 7 March 1918 in Temerin and died on 20 January 2000 in Temerin. He played as a left winger. During World War II he played for Újvidéki AC in the 1943–44 NB I season, scoring 12 goals in 29 appearances. In 1945 he also spent time with MTK. In October 1945 he joined Partizan and scored the club’s first ever goal in a friendly against Zemun, and he was part of the team that won the first Yugoslav First League title. He later played for Spartak Subotica and Vojvodina, finishing his career with 94 league appearances and 29 goals.
