Greetings is a 1968 American dark comedy directed by Brian De Palma. It was co-written by Charles Hirsch and Brian De Palma. The film stars Jonathan Warden, Robert De Niro, Gerrit Graham, Allen Garfield, Roz Kelly, Peter Maloney, Rutanya Alda, and Megan McCormick. It follows three friends—Paul Shaw, Lloyd Clay, and Jon Rubin—as they explore free love, the Kennedy assassination, the Vietnam War, and amateur filmmaking while dodging the draft.

Robert De Niro appears in his first major role. Greetings is also known for being the first American film to receive an X rating from the MPAA (later changed to an R). It won a Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival.
