Chhaygaon FC
Chhaygaon Football Club is a professional soccer team from Chaygaon, Assam. They were officially registered with the AIFF on October 2, 2024, and play their home games at the Chhaygaon Sports Complex. In the 2024–25 season, under coach Shantanu Basu, they dominated the Assam State Premier League and won the title. On June 10, 2025, they defeated Eleven Star Club 4–0 in the final at Dhakuakhana to become state champions. This win earned them promotion to I-League 3, the fourth tier of Indian football. The team colors are red and white, and they represent Kamrup district with strong local support in Chaygaon.
