State Literary Award (Sri Lanka)
The State Literary Award is an annual set of prizes by the Government of Sri Lanka for the best books written in Sri Lanka. Based in Colombo, it covers categories such as fiction, poetry, translations, songs, and cover designs. Works are reviewed in Sinhala, Tamil, and English. The awards began in 1959.
