St. Teresa Roman Catholic Church is in the former town of New Toronto in Etobicoke, Toronto, Ontario, and is part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Toronto. The church sits at 123 Eleventh Street, Toronto, ON M8V 3G6, and the current pastor is Fr. Joe Morawski.

It was founded in 1924, created from St. Leo’s in Mimico to serve New Toronto. The congregation first worshipped in Century Hall on Sixth Street until the church on Tenth Street was completed in 1925. The first pastor, Fr. Clancy, chose the dedication to St. Thérèse, and he was succeeded by Fr. Carroll as World War II began in 1939. In 1939, Christ the King Church in Long Branch was formed from St. Teresa’s to serve the growing area.

After the war, many Polish families moved to the area, leading to the 1957 founding of St. Teresa Catholic Elementary School beside the church. Following liturgical changes, a new modernist-style church was built on Eleventh Street in 1967, and the old church was demolished. The nearby Father John Redmond Catholic Secondary School, which serves southern Etobicoke, recently moved from the Alderwood area to the former Mimico Asylum grounds within St. Teresa’s Parish.
