Spuul
Spuul is a streaming service for movies and TV shows. It lets you watch and download Indian films, short films, and TV series in Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and other regional languages. You can use Spuul on the web, on iOS and Android devices, on smart TVs, and with Chromecast. The service is available worldwide, though some content may vary by country. Spuul is headquartered in Singapore with an office in Mumbai.
Spuul was launched in 2012. It was founded by Sudesh Iyer, S. Mohan, and Subin Subaiah, who also lead the company today (Iyer is the chairman and Subaiah is the CEO). The company has a small team of 11–50 people. It has partnerships with major Indian studios such as Yash Raj Films, Balaji Telefilms, Shemaroo Entertainment, Viacom18, Reliance Entertainment, Phantom Films, and UTV Motion Pictures.
Spuul offers a mix of free content and premium options, including monthly and yearly subscriptions and pay-per-view movies. In 2018, the service added live Indian, Nepali, Bangladeshi, and Pakistani TV channels and a DVR feature to rewatch earlier episodes. Spuul also runs a movie news blog. The official site is spuul.com. A PCQuest review described the app as a pretty good destination for movie fans.
