Crișul Mic (Barcău)

The Crișul Mic, called Kis-Körös in Hungarian, is a small river that flows through Romania and Hungary. It is a left tributary of the Barcău river and joins the Berettyó at Szentpéterszeg. In Romania it is about 15 km long and has a basin of 58 square kilometers. The river runs through Bihor County in Romania and Hajdú-Bihar County in Hungary, near villages such as Biharia, Santăul Mare, Bojt, and Nagykereki. Water from the Crișul Mic eventually reaches the Black Sea via Barcău → Crișul Repede → Körös → Tisza → Danube. Mouth: Berettyó in Szentpéterszeg. Coordinates: 47°13′27″N 21°37′43″E.
