Iowa State University’s Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business was established in 1984 and is located in Ames, Iowa. It is part of Iowa State University and is AACSB accredited. The college has six departments offering 14 bachelor’s degrees and 11 graduate degrees. The current dean is David P. Spalding. The college’s website is business.iastate.edu.

Business courses at Iowa State began in the 1920s under the Economics Department. In 1955, the Department of Industrial Administration was created and later joined the College of Humanities and Sciences in 1958. The School of Business Administration was formed in 1980, later becoming the College of Business Administration in 1984, and then the College of Business in 1991. On October 19, 2017, the college was renamed the Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business. The Gerdin Business Building, completed in 2003, houses the college and was named for lead donors Russell and Ann Gerdin.
