Simranpreet Kaur Brar
Simranpreet Kaur Brar (born 2 October 2004) is an Indian sport shooter who competes in the 25 m pistol event. She was born in Faridkot, India.
She has won medals at both junior and senior levels. In 2022, she claimed gold in the 25 m rapid-fire mixed team event at the Junior World Cup and silver in the same event at the World Shooting Championships, partnering with Anish Bhanwala. She earned her first senior international podium with a silver medal in the women’s 25 m pistol at a World Cup in Lima.
In 2025, she won team bronze at the Asian Championships. On 7 December 2025, she won gold in the women’s 25 m pistol at the ISSF World Cup Final in Doha, scoring 41 out of 50 and setting a new Junior World Record. She finished ahead of Yao Qianxun and Doreen Vennekamp, marking her first World Cup Final medal.
