Mike J. Bell (born August 30, 1957) is a former American football player who was a defensive end in the NFL. He played 12 seasons, mainly with the Kansas City Chiefs, from 1979 to 1991. Bell played college football at Colorado State, earning consensus All-American honors in 1978. He was the second overall pick in the 1979 NFL Draft by the Chiefs. Born in Wichita, Kansas, he attended Bishop Carroll High School. His twin brother, Mark Bell, also played at Colorado State. Bell was inducted into the Colorado State University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2001. In the NFL, he appeared in 135 games, started 100, and had 52 sacks and 10 fumble recoveries.
