Simon Efemey is an English record producer and sound engineer who works mainly with metal and hard rock bands. He has produced or engineered for Napalm Death, Paradise Lost, Obituary, Amorphis, Deceased, and The Wildhearts, among others. He has also mixed live sound for bands such as The Wonder Stuff, Jesus Jones, Diamond Head, Orson, Obituary, and Napalm Death.

Efemey helped set up recording studios and rehearsal spaces in Stourbridge, first called Wreckless and later The Icehouse, to provide affordable practice spaces and recording facilities for local musicians. He has performed as a musician himself, fronting acts including The Hellfire Club and The Stinkin’ Fish.

He was the cover star on the withdrawn sleeve for The Wildhearts’ 1993 single "Greetings from Shitsville," showing him defecating into a pita bread held by the band.
