Silent So Long
Silent So Long is the second studio album by the industrial rock band Emigrate. It was released in Europe on November 14, 2014, and in the United States on December 9, 2014, through Vertigo/Capitol and Spinefarm/Universal Music. The album runs 43 minutes and 51 seconds. Recording took place in Berlin at Studio Engine 55 and Funkhaus Studio, with the vocals for the track “Hypothetical” recorded at Poolhouse in Los Angeles. Guests on the album include Frank Dellé of Seeed, Jonathan Davis, Lemmy, Margaux Bossieux, Marilyn Manson, and Peaches. Lead singer Richard Kruspe wrote all the lyrics, with assistance from Terry Matlin, Thomas Borman, and Margaux Bossieux, and he composed all the music. Kruspe’s gear for the project included ESP guitars, Mesa Boogie Rectifier amps, Pro Tools and Apple Logic, Jim Dunlop pedals, EMG pickups, and Native Instruments plug-ins.
