Sparganium glomeratum, the clustered bur-reed, is a water plant in the bur-reed family (Typhaceae). It grows in high-elevation lakes and marshes across Europe, Asia, and North America. Although North American populations were once thought possibly introduced due to their rarity, a herbarium survey found more localities in central Canada, showing the species has a circumpolar distribution. Its conservation status is Least Concern (IUCN 3.1). Taxonomy: Kingdom Plantae; Tracheophytes; Angiosperms; Monocots; Commelinids; Order Poales; Family Typhaceae; Genus Sparganium; Species glomeratum; Sparganium glomeratum Laest. ex Beurl., 1853.
