Sidi Abdelmoula Mosque
Sidi Abdelmoula Mosque is an old mosque in the medina of Sfax, Tunisia. It sits in the southern part of the old city, near El Ajouzine Mosque. It can be reached by three streets: The Great Mosque street to the west, El Andalus street, and El Issaouiya street to the north.
Compared with other medina mosques, Sidi Abdelmoula is considered more modern. It was formed by joining two small neighboring prayer rooms: Sidi Abelmoula Siala's and Mohamed El Saffar's. Between 1936 and 1937, it was enlarged by adding an adjacent house so it could host the Friday prayer (Jumaa).
Today the building is a rectangular prayer room with four naves and a marble-decorated mihrab for the imam. It has its own minaret at the northern entrance in Maghrebin style.
