Ochterus banksi
Ochterus banksi is a species of velvety shore bug found in North America. It belongs to the family Ochteridae (genus Ochterus) in the insect order Hemiptera. The species was first described by Barber in 1913. It has a synonym, Ochterus flaviclavus, also named by Barber in 1913.
