Shrew-toothed shrew tenrec (Microgale soricoides) is a small mammal in the tenrec family. It is found only in Madagascar, where it lives in subtropical or tropical moist forests. The species is listed as Least Concern by the IUCN. Its scientific classification is: Kingdom Animalia; Phylum Chordata; Class Mammalia; Order Afrosoricida; Suborder Tenrecomorpha; Family Tenrecidae; Genus Microgale; Species soricoides. It was described by Jenkins in 1993.
