Avan (Persian: اوان) is a village in Moallem Kalayeh Rural District, Rudbar-e Alamut-e Sharqi District, Qazvin County, in Qazvin Province, Iran. It sits near Ovan Lake. The population has changed over the years: 368 people in 128 households (2006), 218 people in 78 households (2011), and 349 people in 136 households (2016).
