Showtek is a Dutch electronic dance music duo from Eindhoven, made up of brothers Wouter Janssen and Sjoerd Janssen. They started making music in 2001 and have become known for many EDM styles, including techno, hardstyle, Dutch house, electro house, progressive house, big room, future house, and future bass.

They have worked with big names like Tiësto, Chris Brown, and David Guetta, and have seen success on music charts. In 2014 they were ranked 17th on the Top 100 DJs list, but their ranking dropped to 96th by 2016.

Early in their career, Wouter used the stage name Walt and Sjoerd used Duro. Their first album, Today Is Tomorrow, came out in 2007 on Dutch Master Works, followed by Analogue Players in a Digital World in 2009. They also used many other aliases, such as Dutch Masters, Headliner, Lowrider, Unibass, DJ Duro, Walt, and Boys Will Be Boys.

Showtek collaborated with Tiësto on Kiss from the Past in 2011 (as Allure), and in 2012 they contributed to Club Life: Volume Two Miami with the singles "Miami / Chasing Summers" and "Hell Yeah!" They started the Crazy Collabs project with other producers, and co-produced Chris Brown’s "Nobody's Perfect" with Lukas Hilbert and David Jost.

In 2013 they launched their own label, Skink, licensed to Spinnin’ Records, with the first release "We Like To Party." In 2014 they teamed up with Vassy and David Guetta on the track "Bad," which charted on many lists around the world.

In 2023 Showtek returned to hardstyle with a public appearance at Qlimax: Enter The Void after a 15-year break. They announced a hardstyle album for 2024, titled "360 Blue," which was released on June 20, 2024. They also host podcasts on their website, showtek.nl.
