Sharanabasappa Gouda Darshanapur (born 3 March 1961) is an Indian National Congress politician from Karnataka. He is the Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Shahapur, a seat he has won five times—in 1994, 2004, 2008, 2018 and 2023. Since May 2023, he has been a cabinet minister in the second Siddaramaiah government, with the portfolios of Small Scale Industries and Public Enterprises.

Early life and education
- Born in Darshanapur village, Shahapur taluk, Yadgir district.
- Graduated as a Civil Engineer from PDA College of Engineering, Kalaburagi.
- Worked as an Assistant Engineer in Lift Irrigation Corporation, Bijapur (1985–1989).
- In 1992, elected as a senate member from the Engineering Graduate Constituency of Gulbarga University.

Political career and roles
- Elected MLA for Shahapur in 1994.
- Minister of State for Power in the J. H. Patel government (1996–1997).
- In 2006–2007, served as Minister for Agricultural Marketing and In-Charge for the undivided Gulbarga District in H. D. Kumaraswamy’s first cabinet.
- Appointed Deputy Chairman of the State Planning Board in 2018.
- On 14 February 2022, became a member of the KKRDB Board along with other Hyderabad Karnataka Region MLAs.
- Re-elected as MLA in 2023 and currently serves as a cabinet minister with portfolios of Small Scale Industries and Public Enterprises.

Other roles
- Founding member and President of Sir M Vishweshwaraiah Sahakar Bank Niyamitha (1996).
- Founder and President of The Gulbarga Engineers' Family Club Gulbarga (1997); now its Chief Patron.

Personal life
- Married to Bharti Darshanapur; they have a son and a daughter.
- His father, Late Bapugouda Darshanapur, was an MLA of Shahapur for three terms and served as Minister for Small Scale Industries, Chief Whip, and Chairman of KHB.
