Ebba Forsberg, born Ebba Maria Knigge Forsberg on 31 July 1964 in Stockholm, Sweden, is a Swedish pop singer. She performs solo and has been part of several bands, most notably Traste Lindéns Kvintett. Her family moved from Sweden to Tortola in the Caribbean when she was five, then to South Africa for eight years before she returned to Sweden. In 1996 she was signed by Maverick Records, led by Guy Oseary. Her debut album for Maverick, Been There, generated a lot of buzz and featured lyrics by her sister Kajsa Ribbing. She has also released two albums of Swedish versions of international songs—Bob Dylan (2007) and Leonard Cohen (2009)—with translations by Mikael Wiehe. Ebba acted in the lead role in the TV series Anderssons älskarinna. She is the daughter of Lars Lennart Forsberg and is married to Thomas Knigge, with whom she has a child and two stepchildren, plus a daughter born in 1989 from an earlier marriage. Ebba and her husband run the Eboth record label.
