See All Her Faces is Dusty Springfield’s seventh studio album, released on 10 November 1972 by Philips. It features songs recorded between 1969 and 1971 in the US and the UK, drawn from different recording sessions. Some tracks were made with Jeff Barry for a planned-but-shelved third Atlantic album, while others were recorded for Philips in the UK between April and July 1970. These sessions mark Springfield’s final work with longtime producer and arranger Johnny Franz. One track, Willie & Laura Mae Jones, had already been issued as a US single.

The album brings together diverse material, with seven British recordings on Side A and a mix of UK and US recordings on Side B. Because the material comes from many sessions, the album has no single, cohesive sound and features eight different producers, including Springfield herself. Many fans feel it’s best enjoyed one track at a time rather than as a unified statement like Dusty in Memphis.

See All Her Faces was never released in the US at the time, so most of the UK recordings stayed unavailable there until later Rhino compilations Dusty in London and Love Songs, released about thirty years later.

In 2002, Mercury/Universal UK released See All Her Faces on CD with bonus material: three bonus tracks plus two additional recordings from the shelved Faithful project and Springfield’s version of What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life?, recorded in London in 1970 but not released by Philips until years later.

In 2016, Real Gone Music released Come for a Dream – The UK Sessions 1970–71, which includes all 17 tracks Springfield recorded during the See All Her Faces sessions (the original album had nine tracks).

In April 2022, a 50th-anniversary double LP reissue for Record Store Day added nine bonus tracks on a second disc. Three of those had appeared on the 2002 reissue, while six are new outtakes from the See All Her Faces sessions. The new bonus tracks are Go My Love, A Song For You, Wasn't Born To Follow, Sweet Inspiration, O-o-H Child, and Goodbye (Is All That's Left To Say).
