Screen Stockport Film Festival was an annual event held at the Stockport Plaza in Stockport, Greater Manchester, England. It showcased short and feature films from local, national, and international filmmakers and was regarded as the main film festival in North West England. Founded in 2011, the festival offered six categories and several awards for different film roles and genres. Each year it welcomed special guests. The festival was sponsored by IMDb, and Col Needham, the founder of IMDb, spoke there in 2012. In 2014, more than 40 films were shown, and the 2015 edition took place on 17 October.
