Al-Jazeera University
Al-Jazeera University (Arabic: جامعة الجزيرة الخاصة) is a private university in Syria. It started in 2007 in Deir Ezzor and was the first private university in eastern Syria. It has about 700 staff and 2,500 students. The university offers programs in Engineering (Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Informatics), Business Administration, and Pharmacy.
