Santa Fe is a coastal town in Cebu, Philippines, located on the southeastern part of Bantayan Island. It also includes the nearby islands of Guintacan, Hilantagaan, and Hilantagaan Diot. It borders Bantayan town to the north and west, Medellin to the east, and the Tañon Strait to the south. The municipality covers about 28.05 square kilometers and has around 34,800 residents (2024). There are 10 barangays.

Economy and people: Fishing and farming are the main livelihoods, and many visitors come during Holy Week to enjoy the white-sand beaches. Santa Fe is the gateway to Bantayan Island because it hosts Bantayan Airport and a major ferry port. Air Juan operates flights from Mactan three times a week. Ferries also run from Hagnaya Wharf in San Remigio. The two main churches are Roman Catholic and the Philippine Independent Church.

Government: The town uses a Sangguniang Bayan form of government. The mayor is Ithamar P. Espinosa, the vice mayor is Mary Greleigh P. Cabrera, and the representative is Sun J. Shimura. About 22,600 voters were registered for the 2025 elections.

Recent developments: In August 2024, a PHP 500 million project was announced to build the Santa Fe Port, including a passenger terminal and a marina for international cruise ships, plus facilities for ferries and RO-RO vessels. The project will also include a reinforced concrete deck and berthing areas.
