Sanchi, Republic of Dagestan
Sanchi (Russian: Санчи; Dargwa: Санджи) is a small rural village (a selo) in Kaytagsky District, Republic of Dagestan, Russia. As of 2010, about 1,798 people lived there. The village has 7 streets and sits on the left bank of the Ulluchay River, about 2 kilometers northwest of Madzhalis, the district’s administrative centre, by road. Nearby rural localities are Madzhalis and Akhmedkent. The residents are Dargins.
